Marketing isn’t confined to a department; it’s an organisation-wide mindset and culture.

Almost every company has a marketing department but to do marketing it’s much more than a department. Marketing is something everyone in your company is doing 24/7/365.

Just think about it:
📞 Every time you answer the phone, it’s marketing
📧 Every time you answer the customer email, it’s marketing
💻 Every time somebody uses your product, it’s marketing
🐛 Every time a customer finds an error message/bug in software, it’s marketing
🚀 Every version release, it’s marketing
🖊️ Every word you write on a website is marketing
🚫 Every error in a company website or poor website performance, it’s marketing
👥 Every review of employees in a Glassdoor site, it’s a marketing
💼 Every recruiting process with potential employees, it’s marketing
🌐 Every social engagement and company content, it’s marketing
🍽️ Every customer lunch with a salesperson, it’s marketing
📚 Each workshop with the customer, it’s marketing
🌟 Every customer review and testimonial, it’s marketing
🛠️ Every new software feature, it’s marketing
📞 Every customer support and response, it’s marketing
📑 Every documentation released to the customer, it’s marketing

These seemingly small actions have a colossal impact—they’re more significant than the items in a conference goodie bag. Marketing is everything we do, every day.
Next time you pick up the phone, remember—it’s more than just a call; it’s a chance to shape our brand.
